Michael Fassbender ("300") is in final negotiations to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino's "Inglorious Bastards" reports Variety.

The German actor is most well-known for the role of Stelios in "300" and drew much acclaim for his role as Irish republican hunger striker Bobby Sands in the upcoming feature "Hunger".

Fassbender is also attached to play the iconic role of Heathcliff in the troubled new adaptation of "Wuthering Heights" that both John Maybury and Natalie Portman were previously attached too.
