  • Toronto Film Fest Schedule Revealed

    image The Toronto Film Festival has announced its complete line-up for its two week run in early September. While some big deals will be going down and some big names will hook up, its the big titles that everyone will be talking about and this year seems more jam packed than ever before.

    The Gala Schedule includes the Coen Brothers "Burn After Reading", the Keira Knightley period piece "The Duchess", Neil Burger's post-Iraq drama "The Lucky Ones", Rod Lurie's "Nothing but the Truth", Gavin O'Connor's "Pride and Glory", Jonathan Demme's "Rachel Getting Married", and Gina Prince-Bythewood's "The Secret Life of Bees"

    Special Presentations include Atom Egoyan's "Adoration", Ed Harris' "Appaloosa", Fernando Meirelles' "Blindness", Rian Johnson's "The Brothers Bloom", Guillermo Arriaga's "The Burning Plain", both parts of Steven Soderbergh's "Che", Stephan Elliott's "Easy Virtue", Marc Abraham's "Flash of Genius", David Koepp's "Ghost Town", Mike Leigh's "Happy-Go-Lucky", Kathryn Bigelow's "The Hurt Locker", Richard Linklater's "Me and Orson Welles", Spike Lee's "Miracle at St. Anna", the ensemble "New York, I Love You", Peter Sollett's "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist", Larry Charles' "Religulous", Guy Ritchie's "RocknRolla", Danny Boyle's "Slumdog Millionaire", Charlie Kaufman's "Synecdoche, New York", Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler" and Kevin Smith's "Zack and Miri Make a Porno".
