Paul Hogan and Shane Jacobson ("Kenny") will star in Instinct Entertainment's comedy "Charlie & Boots" says Variety.

Director Shane Murphy and Stewart Faichney, who worked with Hogan on the 2004 comedy "Strange Bedfellows", will serve in the same capacity here.

The story follows a father and son who travel from Victoria to Cape York to fulfill their lifelong ambition to fish off Australia's northern tip.

The film will have a wide theatrical release in Australia in late 2009 through Paramount and Transmission Films.
