Comedian and "Scream" star Jamie Kennedy will produce the indie drama "In Northwood" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The redemption tale centers on a man (Nick Stahl) condemned to a mental hospital for committing murder.

First-time director D.W. Brown, a playwright who was Kennedy's acting teacher, will direct from his own script. Shooting begins this month.
