    image - Paramount has launched three viral sites for "Tropic Thunder" promoting the Ben Stiller character Tugg Speedman along with two of his films - Scorcher VI: Global Meltdown and Simple Jack. Be sure to check out the quote on the bottom left of the "Simple Jack" site. Also the studio has moved up the release date two days to August 13th.

    - New photos are up for Max Payne, Days of Wrath, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Saw V.

    - Posters are for Eagle Eye, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Duchess.

    - Mirage licensing and Imagi studios have begun work on a new live-action TMNT film for 2010 according to the Playmates Toys website. - Megan Fox had to put on 10 pounds in three weeks for "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" after Director Michael Bay deemed her too skinny.

    - "Terminator Salvation" Visual Effects Supervisor Charles Gibson talks about his role in the production in a new blog entry.

    - Its been confirmed that not only is Darren Aronofsky in final talks for the new "Robocop", but its a direct sequel and NOT a remake as previously reported. The plot takes place 20 years after the termination of the RoboCop program when the city decides to reinstate it.

    - Michael Bay claims that the first 12 minutes of the "Friday the 13th" remake is going to re-write the books.

    - Aussie actor Luke Ford has signed on for three "Mummy" films in total, leading many to believe that if "Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" is a success then he'll be put front and center as the main star.

    - J.J. Abrams once again keeps playing coy about his upcoming reinvention of "Star Trek" - the man loves his secrets.

    - Katherine Heigl's "Grey's Anatomy" character will NOT be killed off according to ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson who says "She's absolutely staying with the show, there's an unbelievable storyline for her this year, which is really central to everything that's going to go on this season."

    - Diora Baird, Shannon Elizabeth and Monica Keena have all joined the cast of Adam Gierasch's remake of "Night of the Demons".

    - 20th Century Fox has pushed back the Rainn Wilson comedy "The Rocker" three weeks to August 20th.

    - Seth MacFarlane revealed at a Television Critics Association panel that he would like to do a "Family Guy" episode spoofing "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" like they did with the "Star Wars"-themed episode "Blue Harvest".
