Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel ("A League of Their Own, "Parenthood") will rewrite Touchstone Pictures comedy "Bob: The Musical" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story centers on a thirtysomething guy who hates musicals and wakes up to find his entire life has become one. Mike Bender penned the original script which has since seen re-writes by the likes of Jon Lucas, John August and Scott Moore.

Mark Waters is attached to direct and Tony-winning composer Marc Shaiman is writing the movie's songs.
