Despite very tepid reviews, Will Smith starrer "Hancock" took in $6.8 million from 3,680 theaters in Tuesday-night previews from 7pm to midnight.

In comparison to other films with mid-week early night previews, the film topped the $5 million scored by "Iron Man" but fell short of the $8.8 million made by "Transformers".

Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that Sony is projecting a $100-115 million haul for the 5.5 day run from last night to Sunday.
