"Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross has joined the indie comedy "Peck", her first film since taking on the role of Bree Van Der Kamp reports Variety.

The story centers on a high schooler who lives under a microscope of parental scrutiny and develops an unlikely friendship with the school's golden girl.

Adam Arkin, Camryn Manheim, Keir Gilchrist and Brie Larson co-star whilst Michael Nickles is directing from Marc Arneson's script. Shooting is finishes up tomorrow.
