The producers of "The Other Boleyn Girl" are moving ahead with plans for a sequel reports The New York Post.

Based on author Philippa Gregory's "The Boleyn Inheritance", the direct sequel chronicles the fourth and fifth marriages of King Henry VIII of England with Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Jane Boleyn featuring in key roles.

The $35 million period drama has pulled in only $26.8 million over its US domestic run, but took in $40 million in overseas markets so far.
