Jose Padilha ("Elite Squad") will direct a Warner Bros. Pictures action thriller formerly titled "A Willing Patriot" reports the trades.

The story revolves around an American federal agent who goes undercover in South America's dangerous Triple Frontier - the point where the borders of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet - in an attempt to dismantle a terrorist-funding network.

The Jason Keller-scripted project intends to cast a major American star and Latin star for the two key roles.
