DreamWorks has picked up Stacey Harman's romantic comedy spec script "Shared Fare" reports the trades.

The story is based on a true-life experience of Langley Perer - the director of development at production company Benderspink - who split a cab with a stranger and ended up dating the guy for a year.

Frequent Eddie Murphy collaborator Brian Robbins will produce as a potential directing vehicle.
