Universal Pictures has picked up Adam Torchia and Justin Stanley's spec script "The Knights Templar" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The Middle Ages-set horror film follows the famed Knightly order who, returning from the Crusades, are forced to fend off an invading vampire army set on destroying the Holy Grail.

"Wanted" and "Night Watch" director Timur Bekmambetov will produce along with Marc Platt.
