Jason Bateman will star in "Extract", the new comedy from Mike Judge ("Office Space," "Idiocracy") for Ternion Productions and Miramax Films says Variety.

Written by Judge, the story explores what it's like to be the boss when everything seems to be shifting around you.

This is the first project to be produced under Judge's new Ternion banner with writer/producers John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky ("Blades of Glory").

That pair just saw their spec "Brigadier Gerard", a Napoleonic era tale based on a short story by Arthur Conan Doyle, picked up by MRC for filming next year.
