  • Miller Keen On Directing "Boiled"
    By Garth FranklinTuesday, April 22nd 2008 1:14am
image After getting a taste of directing his first full-length feature film with the upcoming "The Spirit", comic artist Frank Miller seems to have developed a taste for it.

Miller talked with MTV News at the New York Comic-Con and revealed that he want to helm the film version of his 1990 three-issue mini-series "Hard Boiled".

"We're talking about [it]. I've got a really unusual way I want to do it. I'm in love with directing. I've found a way to expand my career. Comics and directing are really two sides of the same coin. That's what Robert Rodriguez taught me... good drama is good drama" says Miller.

He also adds that he wants to make the movie in "a really unusual way". The comments come after the weekend's debut of the first trailer for "The Spirit" which has yielded negative feedback, mostly related to how "Sin City"-esque the project looks.
