Diane Keaton will headline the road trip dramedy "The Widows' Adventure" for Gold Circle Films says Variety.

Based on the novel by Charles Dickinson, the story centers on two widowed sisters who embark on an unlikely trip from Chicago to Los Angeles, setting off a comic family odyssey of revelation and reconciliation.

Jason Pomerance adapted the screenplay. The project is out to directors and aiming for a Summer or Fall start.
