DreamWorks has acquired the thriller script "Hereafter" by Peter Morgan ("The Queen," "The Last King of Scotland") reports Variety.

Details are unknown but the plot is said to be in the vein of "The Sixth Sense." Regular Spielberg collaborator Kathleen Kennedy will produce.

Morgan most recently penned "The Other Boleyn Girl" and the upcoming Ron Howard film adaptation of Morgan's play "Frost/Nixon".
