Summit Entertainment has picked up Miles Chapman's spec script "The Tomb" and signed Jeff Wadlow ("Never Back Down," "Cry Wolf") to direct reports Variety.

The story centers on the world's foremost authority on structural security, who's forced to escape from the master prison of his own design and use every trick up his sleeve to find the person who put him there.

Jason Keller ("Deception") is rewriting. Summit hopes 'Tomb' can serve as a franchise starter, with the protag as an action hero who uses brains, not brawn, to get out of trouble.
