Joel Silver talked to Collider at Showest this week and confirms that the upcoming "Speed Racer" will definitely be a PG-rated movie.

He also says that shooting on "Ninja Assassin" begins in about six weeks. The project is directed by James McTeigue ("V for Vendetta"), it's not based on any existing property and it's a full-on martial arts revenge movie.

Silver also hopes to re-team with Shane Black ("Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang") on a script he just received from Black - a detective picture called "The Nice Guys". For the full video interview, click here.
