  • HighRoad Plays A "Perfect Game"
    By Garth FranklinWednesday, March 5th 2008 12:16am
image HighRoad Entertainment has acquired rights to sports film "The Perfect Game" and hired composer Bill Conti to score the movie reports Variety.

Previously called "The Third Miracle," the story centers on the 1957 Little League World Series champs from Monterrey, Mexico.

The ragtag team stunned the world of baseball by winning 13 straight games by a total score of 99 to 13, relying on the charity of the very people they were beating along the way, and won the final game in a perfect game with no hits or base runners.

Directed by William Dear and penned by W. William Winokur, it stars Clifton Collins Jr., Cheech Marin, Emilie de Ravin, Louis Gossett Jr. and Bruce McGill.
