Hugo Weaving will join Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt in Universal's upcoming "The Wolfman" remake reports Variety.

The Aussie "Matrix" and "V for Vendetta" thesp will play Detective Aberline. Del Toro will play the hirsute title character, Anthony Hopkins is his dad and Blunt has been cast as the female lead.

David Self did a rewrite of Andrew Kevin Walker's script, and Joe Johnston will direct when shooting begins next month in London.
