  • Perry Talks "Final Destination 3D"
    By Garth FranklinMonday, February 4th 2008 12:38am
image The dashingly handsome "American Pie" and "Final Destination" producer Craig Perry confirms that the opening disaster in New Line Cinema's fourth "Final Destination" feature will be a high-speed race car crash where an object will fly into the stands killing (or just missing) some of the audience members.

According to Bloody Disgusting, Perry also says that the high-def 3-D technology they're using is the exact same system as the one James Cameron is using for his upcoming "Avatar", and the studio's Brendan Fraser feature "Journey 3D".

He explains that they're going to be very careful about how they use the 3-D in the film - "Having something pop out at the audience every four minutes gets boring", rather he wants something more like "Monster House" which adds to the experience of the film.

Casting is currently underway for a March shoot in New Orleans.
