Pierce Brosnan has joined the cast of the adventure flick "Vanilla Gorilla" according to the actor's official site.

Based on a script by Craig Gardner and Terry Loane, it deals with an albino gorilla that has the capacity to speak through sign language.

Brosnan adds that "It's the story of a father and daughter who find themselves on an adventure of a lifetime, as they try to restructure their relationship after the loss of his wife".

Loane also directs the project and shooting will take place in South Africa starting in mid-February.

Brosnan will then shoot the "Thomas Crown Affair" sequel immediately after in Dubai, Berlin, and Istanbul under the helm of Paul Verhoeven.
