Disney Feature Animation's "Bolt" has been scheduled for a digital 3-D release next Thanksgiving says The Hollywood Reporter.

Previously titled "American Dog," 'Bolt' is the story of a TV star dog named Bolt (John Travolta) who is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York, where he begins a cross-country journey through the real world.

Chris Williams directs the picture which is set for a November 26th 2008 opening, by which time there are expected to be around 1,200 to 1,500 potential 3-D screens in place.
