The IESB reports that Silver Fox, Wolverine's love interest, is going to be in the new prequel "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".

They also report that Maggie Q ("Mission: Impossible III") is the top front runner for the role and may have already been cast. They have not been able to get confirmation from the studio or her representatives however.

In the comics, Wolverine meets her and believes they were romantically involved for quite some time in his past - only for her to be apparently killed by Sabretooth.

It's later revealed that not only is she alive, but was also a victim of the Weapon X program that he was subjected to and the memories of their time together were implanted.
