Fracture star Ryan Gosling's next film will be starring opposite Tom Waits in Dagur Kari's "The Good Heart" reports UK Teletext.

The film is much-delayed and Gosling originally dropped out to make The Lovely Bones instead, but the scheduling has now been worked out.

The film tells of a bartender who takes in a young homeless man under his wing. Kari is a promising French-born Icelandic writer-director.
