Ron Perlman and Lauren German have joined the noir thriller "The Dark Country" for Hyde Park Entertainment and Stage 6 Films reports Variety.

Actor Thomas Jane's directorial debut concerns a couple who find their honeymoon to be a hellish adventure.

The project, which just begun shooting in New Mexico, is being filmed in 3D high definition.

Tab Murphy (Tarzan) wrote the script and Sony will distribute the project sometime next year.
