Roger Avary tells Sci-Fi Wire that though the script is almost done, no progress will be made on the "Wolfenstein" film until the writers' strike ends.

"[I] am proud of [the script] but everything as far as the production date and that kind of thing won't be decided on until after all this [is] over. And I fully support the strike... We will start it when it is the right time" he says.

Avary adds that the film will be "a World War II old movie of guys who are out on a mission, but this one will have the addition of monsters and horror and a lot of craziness all mixed together."
