Julia Stiles will star opposite Paddy Considine and Scott Speedman in writer-director Jamie Thravess thriller "Cry of the Owl" says Reuters.

Sarah Polley was initially attached to star in the adaptation of the 1962 novel by Patricia Highsmith ("The Talented Mr. Ripley") for BBC Films and Myriad Pictures.

Considine will play a man who moves to Stiles' suburban town and begins stalking her. Speedman will play her jilted ex, who complicates matters further when he plots revenge against her.

Principal photography is set to begin October 30th in Toronto.
