Frank Langella will star with Cameron Diaz in the $30 million horror film "The Box" directed by Richard Kelly ("Donnie Darko," "Southland Tales") says Variety.

Kelly wrote the script based on Richard Matheson short story "Button, Button". Langella will play a stranger who presents a mysterious box to a woman.

The film starts shooting mid-November once Langella wraps the film version of "Frost/Nixon" for Imagine.
