  • "Indiana" & "Knight" Most Anticipated
    By Garth FranklinThursday October 11th 2007 8:54am
image A poll of more than 2,000 moviegoers has revealed some not unexpected results. It seems that "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "The Dark Knight" are the two most anticipated upcoming films by movie audiences reports Reuters.

The poll, giving its readers a list of films between November this year through til late 2008, revealed the fourth 'Indy' and "Batman Begins" sequel as the clear favourites and likely to nab the biggest openings next year.

The next "Narnia" film (#5), "Iron Man" (#6), "Get Smart" (#8) and "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" (#9) also slipped into the Top Ten, as did three films opening this Fall - "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" (#3), "American Gangster" (#4), and "I Am Legend" (#7).

Not faring so well were some of the more high profile kids films - "Bee Movie," "Mr. Magnorium's Wonder Emporium," and "Speed Racer" didn't crack the Top 15, whilst other results were surprising such as a bigger interest in "Beowulf" (#12) than "The Golden Compass" (#13).

The full list is now online.
