Val Kilmer, Stephen Dorff, Sam Shepard, Harold Perrineau, Anne Archer and Marisol Nichols are in final negotiations to star in "Felon" reports New Mexico Business Weekly.

The film concerns a family man who is convicted of killing an intruder but then must cope with life afterward in the violent penal system.

Shooting will take place in Santa Fe, New Mexico from October 9th through November 2nd, 2007.
