Alliance Films has picked up U.K. and Canadian rights to Anonymous Content's $8 million Brit gangster pic "44 Inch Chest" reports Variety.

Script by "Sexy Beast" writers Louis Mellis and David Scinto follows a man (to be played by Ray Winstone) and his friends who take revenge on his cheating wife by kidnapping her Italian lover. John Hurt, Ian McShane and Tim Roth also star.

Shooting begins in London early next year and marks the feature debut for ad director Malcolm Venville.
