20th Century Fox's Keanu Reeves-led remake of "The Day The Earth Stood Still" has been delayed from May 9th 2008 to December 12th 2008.

Many expected a change, since it would've had to compete against "Speed Racer," not to mention being a month already featuring "Iron Man," "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".

Unfortunately, unless "Wolverine" is scheduled for the Summer, Fox won't have one major film coming out next Summer short of Eddie Murphy comedy "Starship Dave".
