Justin Timberlake is joining the cast of Paramount Pictures' Mike Myers comedy "The Love Guru" reports the trades.

In the comedy, the Love Guru (Myers) - an American raised by gurus who moves back to the U.S. to get into the self-help business - is challenged to settle a rift between a Toronto Maple Leafs star hockey player (Romany Malco), and his estranged wife.

After the split, the wife starts dating L.A. Kings star Jacques Grande (Timberlake) out of revenge. This sends her husband into a major professional skid, to the horror of the team owner (Jessica Alba) and coach (Verne Troyer).

Marco Schnabel will direct from a script by Myers and Graham Gordy, shooting begins next month in Toronto. A June 20th 2008 release is planned.
