Matthew Lillard has joined the cast of the Lighthouse Entertainment 1980s-set teen comedy "Endless Bummer" says The Hollywood Reporter.

Lillard plays a veteran surfer turned surf shop owner who helps a group of teens track down a prized stolen surfboard he originally built. The board's current owner and several of his friends go on a road trip from Ventura to the San Fernando Valley to get it back.

Rocker Joan Jett, Khan Chittenden ("Introducing the Dwights"), Jane Leeves ("Frasier"), and Caitlin Wachs ("Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood") also star. Lillard joins the production of director Sam Pillsbury's feature this week.
