Briana Evigan, Robert Hoffman, Telisha Shaw, Adam G. Sevani and singer-model-actress Cassie will star in Touchstone Pictures / Summit Entertainment's "Step Up 2 the Streets" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The sequel to last Summer's hit coming-of-age dance film with Channing Tatum, the follow-up has many of the same crew from the first film but none of the cast.

Set at the Maryland School of the Arts, the sequel's story follows revolves around dance student Patrick (Hoffman) and rebellious new student Andie (Evigan).

Jon Chu directs and shooting begins Monday in Baltimore.
