Alan Rickman and Hugh Grant are set to deliver different interpretations of the same role reports UK Teletext.

Alan Rickman has already been confirmed to play Steven Spurrier in "Bottle Shock," the first of two films about the 1976 Paris wine tasting.

However Grant or Jude Law are up for the same role in "Judgment of Paris," a rival film which actually owns the life rights to Spurrier and to George M Taber's book about the 1976 Paris Tasting.

Robert Kamen ("The Fifth Element," "Lethal Weapon") is adapting the second one. They're also after George Clooney for wine-maker Warren Winiarski and Keanu Reeves for Napa winemaker Mike Grgich.
