Dana Delany, Nathan Fillion and Lyndsy Fonseca are in negotiations to join the cast of the ABC Studios-produced "Desperate Housewives" next season as regulars says The Hollywood Reporter.

Delany and Fillion would play a woman and her much younger husband who move to Wisteria Lane with the woman's daughter (Fonseca).

The casting of Delany is ironic as she was reportedly the first choice for the role of Bree (Marcia Cross) but turned down the pilot.
