  • Jamie Lee Curtis Heads "South"

    image Jamie Lee Curtis has joined Walt Disney Pictures' lost-dog comedy "South of the Border" says Reuters.

    The story centers on a spoiled Beverly Hills Chihuahua (voiced by Drew Barrymore) who becomes lost in Mexico and must rely on her new friends to help her get back home.

    Curtis will play Aunt Viv, the dog's owner and one of two (the other being Piper Perabo) live-action characters in the film.

    George Lopez, Andy Garcia, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, Placido Domingo, Edward James Olmos and Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo will lend their voices.

    Raja Gosnell directs, whilst Jeff Bushell and Analisa Labianco penned the script.
