"Fantastic Four" director Tim Story has signed on to direct a big screen adaptation of DC/Vertigo Comic's "The Losers" for Warner Bros. Pictures reports the trades.

The comic book series followed a team of special forces soldiers who declare war on the CIA after their Agency handler tries to assassinate them.

Peter Berg was originally considering directing, but passed. Nevertheless he penned the adaptation and will produce.
