Amber Heard ("Hidden Palms," "Pineapple Express") has been cast as the female lead in the teen drama "Get Some" for Summit Entertainment says The Hollywood Reporter.

Written by Chris Hauty, the story centers on a transplanted Iowa teen (Sean Faris) who winds up in an underground fighting league in Florida.

Heard will play Baja Miller, whose loyalties are put to the test when her boyfriend severely beats up Faris' character.

Jeff Wadlow directs, and production begins July 16th in Florida.
