  • McDowell Talks "Halloween" Sequels
    By Garth FranklinFriday May 11th 2007 12:23am
image Out talking up NBC's "Heroes," Malcolm McDowell talked to Rotten Tomatoes about playing Dr. Loomis in the new "Halloween" remake and revealed his contract details:

"I've signed for three. How about that? They obviously think it's going to be a big hit" said McDowell.

The actor also admitted he has never seen any of the "Halloween" movies, and director Rob Zombie deliberately told him not to - "It's a new look, it's a reinvention of it and he is completely different, my Loomis, I presume. So I guess there will be some people that will be sort of disappointed if they think I'm just going to copy [Donald Pleasence] because I'm not."

"Halloween" is scheduled to open on August 31st.
