Amber Heard has joined Sony Pictures comedy "The Pineapple Express" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows two toking pals (Seth Rogen, James Franco) who get mixed up with a drug gang. David Gordon Green is directing, while Judd Apatow and Shauna Robertson produce.

Heard will play Rogen's girlfriend who makes him promise to give up the wacky tobacky. She later discovers he lied to her.
