  • Nolan Pens Spielberg's "Interstellar"
    By Garth FranklinFriday March 23rd 2007 2:51am
imageParamount Pictures has set Jonah Nolan to write "Interstellar," a space adventure that Steven Spielberg has been attached to direct since last year reports The Los Angeles Times.

The drama revolves around explorers who travel through a worm hole and into another dimension.

The project is based on the latest scientific theory by Kip S. Thorne, a Caltech physicist who is an expert on relativity.

Jonah Nolan first became known in the industry as the brother of director Chris Nolan ("Batman Begins," "Memento"). Jonah penned the short story that inspired "Memento", and has since become an acclaimed scribe in his own right - co-penning both last year's "The Prestige" and next year's "The Dark Knight" with his brother.

Nolan is presently working on "The Chicago Fire" for Warner Bros. Pictures and will get to work on "Interstellar" once that's wrapped.

The project remains some time off however as Spielberg remains committed to shooting "Indiana Jones IV" this year and an Abraham Lincoln next year.
