Oscar-nominated actor Jackie Earle Haley ("Little Children," "All the King's Men") continues his comeback with three projects already in the works says The Hollywood Reporter.

In the Will Ferrell basketball comedy "Semi-Pro" over at New Line, Haley plays a fan who wins a basketball-throwing contest.

He follows that up playing an abusive husband and angry father in Rowan Woods' ensemble drama "Winged Creatures" alongside the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Forest Whitaker, Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce.

Finally comes Dan Pritzker's indie drama "Bolden!" about Buddy Bolden, the first man of New Orleans jazz. Haley will portray a judge at the center of most of the lucrative but corrupt activities in New Orleans.
