Much more of an Alan Moore than a Frank Miller fan myself, but Miller's influence on the graphic novel and comic book genre is undeniable - so much so he wants control of it again.

With film versions of "Sin City" and "300" having hit it big, talk is rife of turning Miller's other work into movies. He's for the idea it seems but only on one condition - he gets to direct.

Talking with The Telegraph to promote "300", Miller says of the Ancient Spartan war movie that "This, I hope, will be the last property of mine that isn't directed by me".

Miller served as co-director on "Sin City" and is slated to serve in the same position on the in the works sequel.
