Tim Story has revealed on his MySpace Blog that the planet-eating Galactus is being designed right now and he will most definitely appaear in the film "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer".

"We haven't finished the design of him/it so be careful about what you read and believe. Trust me...no one knows. One things for sure, you can expect to see him/it. It will be pretty powerful. I'm having a lot of fun with the concept and believe me - MOST will be satisfied" says Story.

The comments come after actor Ioan Gruffudd revealed the other week that he heard Galactus appears only as 'a force' rather than a character in the film.

The design is a large point of contention with fans. The character is the comics is an entity who appears in the form of those who perceive it - which for the most part is a giant humanoid in a large pink/purple helmet with giant side prongs. That look doesn't exactly translate well to film.

Finally, Story also adds that Dr. Doom will have a "classic look! And we definitely touch on his roots in the film. We're working long hours to make it right".
