Oscar winner Alan Arkin is reteaming with Steve Carell in the big-screen version of "Get Smart" for Warner Bros. Pictures.
Arkin will play 'The Chief', Edward Platt's character from the 1965 TV series. The chief of CONTROL leads the organization that fights the evil forces of KAOS.
Carell is on board as secret agent Maxwell Smart, and Anne Hathaway will be Agent 99. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Terrence Stamp also have been cast.
Peter Segal is directing.
