Janet Jackson will team with Tyler Perry in his next film, "Why Did I Get Married," based on the filmmaker's stage play of the same name reports Teletext UK.

Perry's fourth film, "Why Did I Get Married" revolves around a couple who go away with friends every winter to examine their marriages in a group setting. One of the wives brings along a sexy young temptress who causes plenty of trouble for the couples.

Sharon Leal ("Dreamgirls") and Jill Scott have also joined the cast. Perry is writing, directing and producing for Lionsgate with shooting set to begin March 5th in Whistler, Vancouver and Atlanta.
