Francis Ford Coppola has written, and will both produce and direct the Argentine family saga "Tetro" reports Variety.

Matt Dillon toplines the story that revolves around an artistic immigrant family marred by fierce rivalries, handed down through several generations.

Coppola recently wrapped on "Youth Without Youth," his first directorial work in decade. He says "Tetro" will be shot in the same kind of production style and budget range.

Shooting begins in Buenos Aires late this year.
